Changes to Direct Filing Addresses for a Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker

On October 12, 2017, USCIS has changed the direct filing addresses fo petitioners of Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker.

Changes Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker

  • The Form I-129 must be filled according to the state where the company’s primary office is located.

Previously, petitioners filed Form I-129 based on the beneficiary’s temporary employment or training location.

  • If you are in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas you should file Form I-129 at the California Service Center.

Important

Starting November 11, 2017, USCIS will have the right to reject Forms I-129s if they are filed at the wrong service center.
